If not I'll have to mash up my brain to find out what i really did^^ doesnt work buddy Had some probs with my mouse but tapping out to desktop and switching back again into the game repaired it Launch the app with compatibility mode XP SP3 (only thing that worked for me) -> AAAAAaaaaaand it worked!!!!Ĥ. it doesn't work at all BUT now I could launch that b*** from the folder with no app errorģ. At least I reinstalled WaW on my primary drive in the steam folder (C:) not on DĢ. (and excuse my english :-) I'll try to describe my way:įirst of all I tried to start the app directly from the folder normal and as admin but there was allways a creepy error showin up "Application load Error 5:00.34" When I looked this up I found out that it has to be something to do with (steam) copy protection. It may be that installing modded maps may cause this action, but I have no evidence on that.Originally posted by RuM GrueneFeder:So after a couple of hours I really did it. I am using Windows 10, and my monitors are fully compatible for the game as I have been playing CodWaw for at least a month now with friends using custom maps. I'm absolutely puzzled by this phenomenon. ![]() ![]() If anyone has any ideas to how to fix this problem please let me know, if you mention a particular solution that I have already tried, I will reply saying "I have tried said solution and still it failed". I tried updating my drives too, but to no avail I achieved the same result. It was working fine until a few weeks ago it started giving me this message repeatedly. Using Shader model 3.0 code path because it is the best available path on this hardware. Apparently every strategy that I've found in many many websites, are simply not working, No matter what I do that's suggestive to the problem, I Keep getting the same Error, But it seems to only happen when its attempting to Create A Direct3D Device as you can see below. ![]()
